The Challenge

Conduct activity sampling of a 1,000,000 sq ft, 24 hour logistics operation to support identification of capacity constraints and produce recommendations to improve flow, efficiency, and ability to support forecast business growth.

What we did

Collaborated with two leading operations improvement consultancy firms to monitor operational processes during the busiest period, document issues, run workshops to capture the voice of the business, and develop a model for an improved flow warehouse.


Confirmed capacity and improvement plan required in order to support 5 year growth plan, including blueprint warehouse design, systems developments, and proposal for implementation of visual management systems.
