The Challenge

Develop a programme of work with the college leadership team to identify and prioritise the updating of key business processes to deliver an improved learner experience, harmonise ways of working, and support the objectives of the merged college.

What we did

We ran a 5 day diagnostic with the managers and staff from across all college campuses to identify the most significant pain points following the merger and where staff and managers saw the opportunities to integrate and improve. With leadership support, we scoped 6 projects tackling the high priority areas, and supported cross college teams to deliver them using our bespoke methodology over a 12 week period.


Over 60 staff across the merged college worked collaboratively to deliver the 6 integration and improvement projects, and all staff were kept up to date with project progress via the college intranet. Business areas addressed included the learner journey, product development, HR processes, internal Service Desk, and implementation of an updated reporting and management system.

Craig is a fantastic source of support and information. He lead and managed a business process review project across the organisation. Delivering the planned outputs on time and within budget. He is a dedicated and passionate consultant with excellent organisational and communication skills.
